Medieval Games Room Loft Conversion

(Interior Design ::: Fukuoka) ::: Medieval Games Room Loft Conversion

One of the most enjoyable and extreme interior design projects so far, this loft was converted into a themed medieval castle for a gaming club.

The walls were clad in fake polystyrene stone blocks, the floor was finished with wood planking and stone-effect carpet tiles. A small stone fireplace swings inwards to reveal a secret room, for hidden storage. Desk, benches, bookcases and the centrepiece table were all constructed in-house by A Touch of Tensai.

Finishing touches include:

  • Handmade wagon-wheel chandelier
  • Leaded-glass window
  • Sheepskin floor rug
  • Medieval display weaponry
  • Gilt-framed antique map
