Welcome, Wargamers!   Welcome to the online database for wargaming clubs and stores in Japan.

This web site is a non-profit site, run by gamers for the benefit of gamers. It is aimed specifically at fans of Games Workshop game systems such as Warhammer Fantasy Battle and Warhammer 40,000, although club profiles pages may include details of any and all types of wargames played, Games Workshop or otherwise.

The majority if this site is written for the benefit of Japanese visitors, who may not be so familiar with this hobby, which has been established in English-speaking countries for some years now.

However this site is also intended to cater to non-Japanese wargamers currently resident in Japan, who might be searching for opponents or gaming clubs in their vicinity. You are most welcome to register your own clubs, but please bear in mind that your club's profile is also likely to be viewed by non-English speakers!

Simply click on your prefecture to show club and store listings, or use the advanced search options (below the map) to narrow your search for specific games, or keywords.

Registering a Club >>>
Any gamer is welcome to register a club, although we recommend filling in the club details with the assistance of a Japanese speaker. Before registering a club, please be sure to read the User Agreement. The only criteria for registering a club is that at least one of the games regularly played is a Games Workshop product, and that you have a membership of at least 1 (i.e. you!). It's the ideal way to find new gamers in your area!

You are free to enter any description of your club, and upload any photos you think appropriate. If you enter a contact email, messages from visitors (prospective members) can be sent to you via the internal mail system. At no time is your email address made available to the public.

The questions on the form are:

Club location (prefecture)
Club name
Club contact's name (i.e. you)
Club contact's email (anti-spam measures are in place)
Login password (anything is okay)
Club homepage
Club venue (address)
Club introduction space

What year did the club first start?
How often does the club meet? (daily, weekly, every 2 weeks, monthly, less)

Registering a Shop >>>
If you know of any stores near you which stock Games Workshop products, then please feel free to contact us with details, if it is not already in the database. Internet-based online shops may also be registered.

Message board >>>
Any messages related to the Games Workshop hobby in Japan may be posted here. Entering an email address is optional, but allows replies to your message to be forwarded to you. The message board is bilingual, and can also be searched by keyword.

Links directory >>>
Currently divided into 3 categories (GW-related, store-related, and club/fan-related sites), the links directory is an ongoing attempt to strengthen ties between far-flung fans of the hobby. Anybody is welcome to use the scroll form to suggest sites for the directory, and banners can also be included in gif or jpg formats.
